As we continue our journey as Vietnam’s leading wellness sanctuary, a fresh wave of inspiration is flowing through the heart of TIA Wellness Resort. We’re excited to welcome a dynamic new member to our executive team: Alyson Simms, our newly appointed Executive Assistant Manager – Wellness. In alignment with our commitment to continuous evolution, Alyson joins us to expand and enrich our wellbeing offerings while supporting resort operations through her mindful leadership – guiding and assisting all departments while sharing her wellness expertise with the entire team.
With over 20 years of global experience in the wellness industry, Alyson has traveled to more than 50 countries, cultivating a profound cultural awareness grounded in mindfulness. Her journey in wellness began with yoga and quickly grew into leadership. From 2006 to 2009, she managed YogaYoga in Austin, overseeing more than 200 instructors and expanding the studio from three to five locations.
Between 2011 and 2024, she founded and ran Atma’s Offerings, an ethical e-commerce brand featuring artisan-made wellness tools. She is also the author of The Magic of Malas (2019) and has hosted wellness retreats across the globe. Most recently, Alyson led wellness programming at Miraval Austin (2019–2023) and launched her consulting firm, Checking In with Alyson, supporting wellness, travel, and lifestyle ventures.
Her love of combining international markets, teaching, and wellness is what led her to her current role with TIA Wellness Resort, where she is already applying her wealth of experience. Alyson aims to elevate our wellness programming by introducing a wider variety of thoughtfully curated, personalized classes that incorporate the latest innovations and techniques in the industry. Guests can look forward to exclusive new treatments—ranging from advanced high-tech facials to multisensory healing experiences—designed to align with our four core pillars: Nourish, Breathe, Flow, and Create.
